Hi, Chl, and welcome to wikipedia. I have replied to your concerns on my talk page. -- Josh

Hi, Chl, I have seen your note on Manwithoutapast's talk page and would like to ask you to weigh in on the Mozart question on the Talk page of "Germany". Thanks Str1977 23:14, 26 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you created that article but I couldn't find a reference to support a claim that the Siphonaptera are really a part of the Mecoptera. Could you look for what source you got that from? I left a few other points on the talk page too. Thanks - Taxman Talk 15:52, August 4, 2005 (UTC)

Hello! I notice that you changed "castle" to "palace"; all the sources that I have say "castle" — what's the reason for the change? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:21, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response and the link. It's a pity that we can't just say "Schloss", as "palace" isn't quite right either (though you're right that it's closer than "castle" from the pictures). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:32, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pope Innocent III[edit]

Thanks for your note. After reading Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor, I certainly agree with you. Someone else has already changed "king" to "emperor" in the Innocent III article. Best wishes, Halcatalyst 05:37, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why everyone is trying to delete your Qantas article! I tried supporting it, but am afraid I am way outnumbered and am so sad. Syringomyelia edit[edit]

I noticed you deleted a figure from the syringomyelia article. It dealt with prevalence, and seemed to include a citation. You deleted it for NPOV. Clearly there is no neutral point of view violation or bias. I suggest you create a topic at the syringomyelia talk page to discuss your reasoning. - Cyborg Ninja 17:55, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Esico of Ballenstedt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. AboundingHinata (talk) 01:19, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Alsace may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 12:42, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merge discussion for Top ancestor[edit]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Top ancestor, has been proposed for a merge with another article. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going here, and adding your comments on the discussion page. Thank you. Bermicourt (talk) 09:06, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

A tag has been placed on Top ancestor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

this has been merged with progenitor as proposed and supported at Talk:Progenitor, and the view is that "top ancestor" is not a term usually used

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Bermicourt (talk) 19:17, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Otto II, Duke of Bavaria (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:2DABS; direct hatnote in place and easier for readers

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
