How many teams competed in Field Hockey?[edit]

The wording of the article leads one to believe that the only team entered initially was the USSR team, and that a team from Zimbvabwe was sent at the last minute.

However from the list of results, it seems there were also teams from Poland, Czechoslovakia, India and Austria in competition. This seems contradictory. Wanderer57 (talk) 15:33, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
