Welcome!

Hello, At33, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Happy editing!

But please take note of the comments from other editors below; you should find the links useful. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:20, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Hi...why are you creating duplicate articles? For example, since there is already a Naruhito article, you don't have to create new articles with the same content. Instead, you should make redirects, just type #redirect [[Naruhito]] and it will point the article that already exists. I hope this makes sense. Adam Bishop 10:08, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Your cut and paste move of the Naruhito article to The Crown Prince Naruhito or Crown Prince Naruhito is inappropriate. You've lost the edit history of the article, and therefore are violating the GFDL license, making your move a copyright violation. RickK 10:11, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

Hi.. I tried to do exactly what you told me... however, due to my careless mistakes, I've duplicated similar articles.at33

??? What who told you to do? Where? RickK 10:17, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

Sorry for confusing.. Well, the article itself, that is "Naruhito", doesn't seem to appropriate, though.at33

May I suggest that you discuss the name change on the article's Discussion page? Also, you changed the styles to "His Majesty", etc., that's not Wikipedia style. RickK 10:24, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

Please stop blanking the redirects. RickK 10:27, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

Hi.. Actually, The Crown Prince Naruhito is a byproduct of my carelss mistakes...thus, I tried to blank it. Please remove the page if you can.

And I quite don't understand that "His Majesty" style is not Wikipedia style (see; British Royal Family). Would you please show any resources that support your talking, or would you please correct the whole British Royal Family matters too??

We might as well leave those as redirects, they aren't doing any harm. If you would like to move the page to a new title, let me know and I'll move it somewhere more appropriate, but you can't move them manually. Adam Bishop 02:29, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Well I have no idea what name you should use for the article, I'm just saying you don't have to blank or delete the redirects. You might want to ask on Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles). Adam Bishop 03:54, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Kulogo.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kulogo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Esrever 06:19, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mark with tag-blue.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Mark with tag-blue.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:01, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Honda S-MX, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MPV (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free image File:Mark with tag-blue.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Mark with tag-blue.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:39, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
