Lowell High School (San Francisco)[edit]

  • keep and cleanup. this might not be a valid VfD, as it was posted without an explanation by a non-logged-in user. ~leifHELO 05:45, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep and clean up (I took a brief stab at clean-up, but I wasn't feeling ruthless enough that day). A well-known (at least regionally) academic high school, and apparently tough to get into. Some notable alumni, too, as I recall. --Calton 06:07, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak delete, might change this later. Regional doesn't mean worldwide notable. --Idont Havaname 06:19, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • I said at least regionally well known. When I take the worldwide survey, I'll let you know. --Calton 11:00, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Extreme keep. Where does it read that articles must establish worldwide notability — and if it did, how would it be measured? —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 06:27, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep & Cleanup. Actually is pretty notable. Over 2500 Students. Cleanup and expansion recommended. --Randy 12:14, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge into appropriate section of San Francisco, California or use it to begin an article about San Francisco Unified School District and delete. The article states that "It is a standard four-year high school" - Skysmith 12:41, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. More notable (and not for student body count--sadly, many US high schools are that big) than most high schools (which I don't generally vote on, but lean towards agreeing with deletion). Niteowlneils 18:55, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • It appears to be an old (by western US standards) and academically achieving school. I can't for the life of me see why we need a list of the facilities. It's a pretty weak keep still in its current form - if there was a San Francisco Unified School District article, I'd be tempted to vote to merge it into that, unless it is improved Average Earthman 21:12, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
