Inclusion criteria[edit]

The concept of a list of Spanish language authors is rather laughable. Is there a corresponding List of English language authors? No, and for a very simple reason: the list would go on and on and on and on and on and on and on...

The reason that there is no list of English language authors is because there are hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of English language authors. And in much the same way, there are also hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of Spanish language authors.

What is the inclusion criteria for an author to be listed here? Do they have to be dead? Culturally significant? From a non-spanish-speaking country? Generally speaking, the majority of authors from Spain will write in Spanish, as will the majority of authors from Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and so on.

In order for this list to be feasible, it needs some concrete criteria. Any thoughts? --Mûĸĸâĸûĸâĸû 22:04, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sortable list[edit]

Are these useful? I've added them to Mexico and Spain. HGilbert (talk) 16:34, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OK, someone reverted this. I found it helpful to look at the list chronologically, but never mind. HGilbert (talk) 00:53, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
