History of AHS Article[edit]

Like many of the other Singapore school history sections of Wikipedia articles, the history section of the AHS article was koped from AHS Website History. Perhaps someone internal can do some writing? —Goh wz 06:57, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

No Singlish on wikipedia, please? :) -Hmib 17:39, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Big Cut[edit]

Most of the middle of the article was essentially advertising. I've cut it. The song bit looks interesting, so I've left that, but it needs translation. (the tag is a bit wrong, but there doesn't seem to be a better one. Zeimusu | Talk page 16:04, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

COMMENTS[edit]

There is not much content (ie. Achievements of old students and etc.) By adding these, it will make the article more professional.

P.S: Use neutral POV if possible.:)

Reassess[edit]

I've changed the assessment to stub class as there is insufficient viable content to qualify for start class at present. I have removed the school song. The copyright status was unclear, and the song was not in English. I have restored the section on extra-curricular activities following the recent discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Schools. More info is needed on the history and curriculum. References and pictures are also needed. Dahliarose 21:11, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

School Song language[edit]

Please note that the school song was originally created in the Chinese language, and that there has been no official English version of the song. It would also not be viable to have an English version of the song, as this would completely destroy the image of the school as a Chinese school. 218.186.13.2 (talk) 06:41, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:School crest22.gif[edit]

Image:School crest22.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
