the Treschow were not counts[edit]

I am somewhat fed up with your recurring attempts of some to add "countess" and "highness" to this lady's article. The Treschow never had any title of count; not even a title of baron. They have been UNTITLED nobility.

Perhaps you are confusing her with a current Norwegian family with a real danish title of count: the family of Wedel-Jarlsberg. However, the fact that Mille-Marie Treschow happens to live in same province as the Wedel-Jarlsberg, does not make also her a "countess". Living in same province is not a way to inherit noble titles. Treschow once again[edit]

I am fed up with your edits too. Mille-Marie Treschow is not even a member of the Danish nobility anymore, she is considered a commoner since her marriage. Before her marriage, she belonged to the lower, untitled nobility, as does a bunch of people, and her family bought their letters patent only in 1812, and if noble, they belong to the bottom of the nobility hierarchy. An untitled noblewoman (which she is not anymore) would under no circumstances be styled "Highness". Tolmerk 20:12, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
