Blatant advertising. Even if the article is cleaned up, we're left with a substub about a newsreader that's not particularly noteworthy -- Ferkelparade π 11:21, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)

• Agreed. Blatant advertising. Mgm|(talk) 12:12, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)
Of course I wanted to vote delete as well. Mgm|(talk) 12:13, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)
• Delete: Advertising of one of the scariest bits of spyware out there. Geogre 15:11, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• If it's "one of the scariest bits of spyware out there," mightn't it be notable? Could somebody who knows more than I about spyware merge anything npov into spyware, perhaps, and redirect? Samaritan 16:19, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• I don't think a redirect would be helpful...in the interest of fairness, it should be noted that NewsGator is not in any way related to Gator and is to the best of my knowledge not a spyware program (kind of makes one wonder why they chose that company name...that's a bit like someone trying to enter the performance car market and calling their company SportsYugo. That would not exactly inspire confidence) -- Ferkelparade π 16:36, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• NewsGator isn't related to Gator? That's good to know. I would sure as heck not name my product after the most infamous spybot in history, though. Are you sure it's not related? I may have been wrong in characterizing the product, if it doesn't do what Gator did (build a huge prefs file on your HDD and send it back to the mother ship...all to allow you to get "tailor made" news, which is really allowing the mothership to build a huge marketing db that it plans to sell access to). • Delete - advertising. Spangineer 15:52, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)
• Delete on grounds of blatant spammery. GRider\talk 19:11, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete, corrosive ad Wyss 22:41, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Mmm... spam.... deleat before I get indigestion. Alphax (talk) 05:06, Dec 15, 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. Even if it isn't Gator, this is still an ad. P Ingerson 12:16, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Comment: While this article is dreck, NewsGator is a pretty popular RSS aggregator. It's NOT Gator, in any way shape or form.
• Delete. Advertisement. - Andre Engels 10:40, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
