Energy content[edit]

Our article says that 100 g of cabbage gives 25 kcal, and contains 3.2 g sugars, 2.5 g "dietary fiber", 0.1 g fat, and 1.28 g protein. But how does that give 25 kcal? Using the standard 4 Cal/g for carbohydrates and proteein and 9 for fat, we get only 19 Cal. The "fiber" doesn't count. If we include the "fiber" as carbohydrate, we get 29 Calories. We don't calculate the values in the nutrition table but rather list them from the USDA database, here, where the energy level of 25 kcal is given. Zefr (talk) 15:09, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cabbage vs Savoy[edit]

I assume that the intention was to depict white cabbage but the depiction is of a savoy. This may be confusing when "cabbage" per-se refers to white cabbage 2a02:908:1657:a860:1049:34bb:c886:3c07 (talk) 15:20, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cabbage in culture[edit]

Could there be a section about cabbage in culture? One example is the Liz Truss cabbage. 129.194.91.158 (talk) 11:16, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the article is about culture, and it was the Liz Truss lettuce! Graham Beards (talk) 16:42, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
