Discussion[edit]

I recieved a message from User talk:DMacks notifying me to review my edits, which was the addition of two images appearing in the plot section. I called you fellows because you three are presently the most active and experienced users for editing articles related to Hindi films.BollywoodDreamz , Shahid and Bollyjeff Please discuss and decide whether the images on this article should be deleted or kept. And why can't articles of Hindi films have screenshots. Many articles of Hollywood related films have screenshots, American Beauty even has a video. And please answer my questions, can't screenshots of Indian movies provide encyclopedic knowledge or aren't here enough administrators reviewing articles of Hollywood films. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bineetojha (talkcontribs) 13:01, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There has to be some good reason for having non-free pictures. They have to be supported by, and important to the text. In this case you could probably have Deewaar1 OR Deewaar2 and Deewaar3 together, but not all three. Also, the fair-use rationale on the picture files must specifically say why they are needed. To describe the difference between the brothers, etc. BollyJeff || talk 13:28, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Deewaar (1975 film). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Deewaar (1975 film)Deewaar – On the basis of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, I feel the term "Deewaar" is way more identified with this film than the 2004 film and the unnotable TV series which is spelt without one "a". • Not convinced the last time at WP:RM there was a discussion on two Indian films we ended up sending all readers to the one with less than 50% of views. Not quite that case this time. views. But is there still a significant benefit in potentially sending 161 readers a day to the wrong film? (of course that won't happen, that's the upper limit of what could theoretically happen). • Comment: In terms of readership, the 1975 film easily triumphs over the 2004 film and the TV series. In fact, the majority of images in this Google Images search query relate to the 1975 film only. Kailash29792 (talk) 02:49, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC in terms of page views and significance.--Cúchullain t/c 13:55, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Orphaned references in Deewaar[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Deewaar's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Language[edit]

The film is officially a Hindi language production. Do refer the censor board certificate that appears before the opening credits.103.5.133.9 (talk) 00:48, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
