I have gone through the entry and corrected all the spellings of "adapter". The only instance that it should be spelt "adaptor" is when referring to the Network Adaptor, as that is its name. :P Treat it like a proper noun and don't fix the not broken spelling :P PKFC 18:21, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)

'Chambers 20th century' gives both as valid - (and it also gives 'data' as plural, so it must be right). Please give your counter-source!

and the Blaze VGA unit is indeed named as a 'VGA Adaptor', so that should seal it :-)

Well I guess this falls into the category of not changing the spelling of words based on British or American spelling. In case neither is an actual British or American, I choose to say that this entry was written in Canadian English :P But don't get me started on "adaptour" either. I think that adaptor is being phased out of use anyways, but thats 99% opinion anyways so I don't have much to counter your argument. I could just say you should check the Chambers 21st Century Dictionary, but meh. Maybe it is just that language changes faster than dictionaries do :P (and yeah I know the word "datum", but never use it...) Anyways.. PKFC 22:38, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

PS2 HDD article contains the same text as this one[edit]

A PS2 HDD article has been created, taking about 75% of the text of this one and cutting and pasting it into the new one. This seems questionable, but as I know nothing about this topic I won't be attempting to change this myself. --Xyzzyplugh 13:58, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:FFXIBundle.jpg[edit]

Image:FFXIBundle.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
