Response: sorry, I made them to demonstrate to high school students the basic editability of Wikipedia. They weren't nonsense, they were accurate, but focused on non-newsworthy people. I didn't know about that principle at the time.
Denying Israel's right to exist=antisemitism[edit]
If I wrote that the Republic of Georgia should cease to exist, Georgians are not a separate people, etc., would it be safe to assume that I harbor prejudice against Georgians? I think so. The same applies to Jews and Israel. --Leifern 20:33, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
I disagree. "A separate people" is a subjective categorization that does not have any agreed meaning, and furthermore, it is not a claim made by most who criticize the moral validity of a state whose basis is ethnically exclusive. "Cease to exist" is also a deliberately sensational wording. Many critics of Israel instead call for Israel to evolve politically into a polity which fundamentally includes all people in its territory. Your misleading evasion of the very valid central criticisms of the millions of critics of Israel who are not at all anti-Semitic suggests that you would rather not address their criticisms. I'll take that as a vote of your confidence that their criticisms have merit. Welcome to the enormous club of critics of Israel who are not anti-Semitic!
