John Lennon quote[edit]

Hi there. You posted a correction to Beatles for John Lennon's famous quote comparing the fame of Christianity to that of the Beatles. I've always heard this as 'bigger than Jesus' ('bigger' meaning more popular) not 'more famous than Jesus'. Do you have a reference for the latter quote?

If it's not a direct quote, but a paraphrasing to convey the correct idea, that's fine but it shouldn't then be in quotes. --Saforrest 16:23, Aug 16, 2004 (UTC)

Re: Lennon quote[edit]

I got the Lennon quote from several sources including this full text of the interview. --Morgan S. Grether 21:05, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
