Untitled[edit]

At first I thought I would call this "U.S. magnet schools", but then noticed that the article for magnet school says it US-specific. --Paraphelion 11:27, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I am finishing what someone started and sorting all the schools into sub-categories by state, while doing this I noticed there is one school (so far) which is in canada. This makes the super-categories here a bit off. Not sure what the best solution is though. Not going to touch it for now. Dalf | Talk 10:04, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

High Schools[edit]

Not all magnet schools are High schools. Should the high school category be removeed? Or the others added? Or... Vegaswikian 06:18, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When I created the category, I purposely did not specify high school or middle school - one of the first schools I added, [Charleston County School of the Arts] is not a high school. I figured there would not be enough magnet schools to necessitate a distinction. I added the related category since I thought it was related - does it imply anything else? --Paraphelion 17:54, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • If that is the only one there, then it leads one to believe that they are all high schools. One option would be to list Elementary and pre high schools. However since the school article should include a category of the type (like high school) and a magnet school, the high school cat is probably not appropiate here. I think removing it is the correct action. Vegaswikian 18:29, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
hopefully there will be more in the future... I'm not well versed with categories and what related categories are appropriate.. please change them if you like. Thanks. --Paraphelion 01:53, 26 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
