I apologize if you didn't like the tone of the above, but really your username is offensive. It's very important that administrators recognize that their role is purely technical, and not that of a "police force". Those who have a "cop" attitude simply cause disruption for the users.
We are a loving, co-operative environment. Your desire to help is very much appreciated, believe me. But take a more co-operative and helpful approach, and you'll be much better received. Jimbo Wales 20:07, 29 Apr 2004 (UTC)

If your intentions here are anything other than to try to cause disruption, my suggestions to you would be to change your user name. I'd also suggest withdrawing your name from consideration to be an administrator here, as you have far too few edits and are too new to generate much support-- be a good contributor for some months before asking again. -- Infrogmation 22:39, 15 May 2004 (UTC)

If your chosen user name was a honest newbie miscalculation rather than a deliberate attempt at disruption, I'm sorry if I offended you. My intention was to give advice rather than to insult.
