Welcome, newcomer!

Here are some useful tips to ease you into the Wikipedia experience:

First, take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial, and perhaps dabble a bit in the test area.
When you have some free time, take a look at the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. They can come in very handy!
Remember to use a neutral point of view!

Image Tagging[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Afonso Pena.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? I tried to find the copyright status of the image on the Brazilian archive website, but I can't read Portuguese and that made it a challenge, to say the least. If you can, please mark it based on image copyright tag's guidelines. If you need help, post a message on my talk page. Thanks so much, Superm401 20:00, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I know that USA government-created images(and text) are in the public domain. You're sure this is also true for Brazilian government-created images? Answer on my talk page again please. Superm401 23:51, Apr 13, 2005 (UTC)
