Sorry to see you go. If you don't mind, instead of deleting your goodbye message and your user page, I decided to list you on Wikipedia:Missing Wikipedians with User:172 and all of the others who left because of being disatisfied with Wikipedia's problems. Hope you can find peace elsewhere. Cheers. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 04:56, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Sorry to see you go as well. Hopefully you may take intrest in Wikinfo instead. Hopefully none of the issues at INC were causes of your leave. --LBMixPro(Speak on it!) 06:26, Jun 25, 2005 (UTC)

I think it is fair that my apology remains, I posted it originally on Rays user page in the hope that he would read it and change his mind, unfortunately he decided to delete it, IMO (and it is a strong one) no one is more or less important in their contributions on wikipedia, it is whether we like it or not a collaborative effort of thousands of human minds, from abuse to trolls, from anonymous edits to dedicated elitist wiki members anyone that has ever left a net footprint (Sock Puppets included) of whatever quality are part of the echoing vaults of this transient reticulation.
In truth I actually admire MANY of Rays copy edits even after our crossing of swords and that is by no means meant as a patronisation. Ray has never been censored or denied his say unless it has been insulting or abusive, unfortunately much of my own contributions have been deleted part through my own fault and part through natural wikipedia causes, I am still here even after my RFC and if Ray truly believed in his "cause" as pasionately as I do (to better wikipedia) he would still be here arguing his case or at the least copy editing my contributions which I wholy welcome. Whether Ray agrees or not? my message here is meant with sincerity, believe me I wouldn't waste my time otherwise, Rays correction of my grammar and spelling is much welcomed :). If Ray returns and we can both maturely start again in an amicable fashion then IMO that in itself would be so much more valuble to wikipedia than anything either of us have contributed so far, I am willing to try and you Ray?... Arbitration Committee case opening[edit]

(this might be unnecessary if Raygirvan has gone, but for formalities sake...)

Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Emico has been accepted and is now open. Please bring evidence to Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Emico/Evidence. Thank you. -- sannse (talk) 19:02, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Ray, I'm sorry to see you go. Your reasonability as well as your intelligence brought a lot to Wikipedia, and you've done a lot for the Iglesia ni Cristo article, adding sources and background information, and it's going to be hard to maintain neutrality without you here, since the "special interest" groups are fighting tooth-and-nail to have this article to their own viewpoint. Thank you for everything you've done here, and I appreciate having the chance to meet and talk with you. Best regards, Onlytofind--Onlytofind 22:44, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Final decision[edit]

The arbitration committee has reached a final decision in Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Emico →Raul654 20:06, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
