American Airlines ground stop[edit]

I don't have a source for this yet -- if it's considered relevant, I'll try to find one -- but American Airlines' System Operations Center (I think that's the name) ordered all AA flights to land as soon as possible, at the closest airport. I think they called it a "full ground stop". This happened a few minutes before the FAA similarly ordered the grounding of all planes in US airspace. I think it's interesting that AA did this on their own, shortly before the FAA did. David10244 (talk) 09:25, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect attribution of Panta scramble order[edit]

This article incorrectly claims it was Maj Fox that spoke out the scramble order for Panta flight, when it was in fact Sgt Powell. 49.182.191.75 (talk) 05:38, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Flight 93 Target[edit]

This article claims a few times that Flight 93’s target was the Capitol building. Every other source I have seen just says that it was aimed at DC, is it actually known what specific building it targeted? ImperialSaponification (talk) 04:11, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Timestamps[edit]

Why are the exact timestamps listed even when there is disagreement among the sources cited (e.g., 8:46:40 versus 8:46:30)? Shouldn't we just round to the minute? Hmm1994 (talk) 07:41, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
