  • [[GDFL]] → GFDL. No need to encouage typos, makes us look sloppy. I clean the ~50 mistake entries in various pages across the wiki. If it's NOT a red link on preview, it's not obvious it's wrong. -- Dbroadwell 08:43, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
    • If there were that many errors, we ought to keep this. If we don't, someone else will just re-create it anyway. Noel (talk) 20:26, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
    • Keep, and add it to Wikipedia:Redirects from misspellings. - SimonP 20:51, Mar 14, 2005 (UTC)
    • Keep; see Template:GDFL's history for the alternative. —Korath (Talk) 22:44, Mar 14, 2005 (UTC)
    • The problem is it encourages leaving spelling errors in articles, and that is bad for the 'pedia. But as a point of fact, it took a year to collect 50 bad references, so it's not ~that~ common. To quote myself 'If it's NOT a red link on preview, it's not obvious it's wrong.' At this point the only page still linking to it, is this one. -- Dbroadwell 03:57, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
