Needs rewrite.[edit]

This article is a bit of a mess. Some of the facts are out of order, and lots of content is duplicated. Info on her memoir doesn't need to appear in the (huge) lead section as well as further down the page. Anybody (not me) feel like overhauling this? Thanks.
