Has anyone ever found the bottle that Capt. Cook buried? FatBear1 (talk) 15:58, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, probably because it was never buried. According to the most recent biography of Cook, by Hampton Sides (2024), the bottle was not buried but left at the base of a prominent lone tree. Which makes sense when you consider the intent would be for someone to find the bottle (thus the included note).
