- Sorry to inform you this, but posting copyrighted lyrics on the web really violates a song writer's copyrights. The copyright holder may or may not sue you. Usually they don't do that to a small 100-hit/day website because they cannot pay the money to justify the costs of hiring a lawyer and sending letters. However, Wikipedia is not a place to take such risks. At most you can quote a few lines (see: fair use). Moreover, Wikipedia is not a lyrics depository. Only really important songs will be covered.
