  • Delete: I don't know about the place, quite, but it gets few hits, and the write-up here makes it seem somewhat suspicious and much more black than white hat. Geogre 19:20, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Well, I am glad people are not putting up things or voting on deletion, or making comments, for topics they know little to nothing about. First, Freehaven is the host site for the FreeHaven/Tor and FreeHaven/Mixminion and you can see those words in fairly large print on the front bottom left of their webpage Free Haven. Second, FreeHaven/Tor is currently being funded by the United States Government - Navy branch - 'black hat' indeed. --ShaunMacPherson 21:45, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Neutral It is a poor write up so I would not be opposed to it being deleted to give someone a chance to create a new version. However, I am seriously disturbed at people commenting and voting on topics they know little to nothing about. And if people know nothing about this topic how can they possibly judge how 'note worthy' it is? This is the epitomy of actionable ignorance and is a serious, and seemingly growing, problem for the votes for deletion page on Wikipedia. --ShaunMacPherson 21:45, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    I, for one, made the decision based on the contents of the page and minimal research. If the page is so bad that it neither mentions the importance of it's topic nor gives locations for further research then it's clearly not worth having. I've now added some further information.   • Keep Freehaven is the project that builds Tor and Mixminion, two useful privacy tools. They also do research in the anonymity field and maintain the anon-bib. This entry should be improved, not deleted.
