Ok, this page used to be redirected to Big Boss page, as it's a DAMN HUGE SPOILER I just made another page w/ another picture, ok? Now Big Boss has his page and Naked Snake has another, but the pages are pretty much identical. So if you're gonna update one, update the other too. Thanks. -Imperator 18:38, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I recommend to include only information of Big Boss' early life and his potrayal as Naked Snake (including name debate) in MGS3 in the Naked Snake article, while include information of his post-Snake Eater career and his potrayal in the MSX games in the Big Boss page. Revision[edit]

It's a bit superfluous to have a duplicate page with mirrored content just to avoid a spoiler. I removed all of the identical information and added a note about the possible spoiler and his identity. --Asriel 21:33, Apr 23, 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, cool thing you did. Nice! -Imperator 18:48, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Naked Snake?[edit]

But... but... he's not naked, is he? JIP | Talk 19:00, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

'Naked' refers to his insertion method in the begining of MGS3: Snake Eater.
(He is given no weapons or equipment)

Merging back to Big Boss.[edit]

I've been thinking alot about this the other day. Is it really that big of a spoiler that Naked Snake and Big Boss are the same person? I mean, it was pretty obvious from the game's setting. So what's difference between knowing beforehand that Naked Snake and Big Boss from knowing the same about Iroquois Pliskin and Solid Snake? Jonny2x4 06:43, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, this page is totally unnecessary. Not only is it obvious from MGS3 bing set in 1964, but it's also made clear by the Big Boss article. Valenkorps

I agree with merging it. That Naked Snake picture would look good in the Big Boss article anyway. --DoubleCross July 1, 2005 19:19 (UTC)

Oh, it's already there. :) --DoubleCross July 1, 2005 19:20 (UTC)
While I initially agreed with merging it, I did not know they were the same person until my friend pointed it out to me (obviously, I had not beaten the game yet). While it is obvious when realized, it is not as obvious as Pliskin/Solid.
