Hi!

Did you create Image:Prisoner.gif yourself? Did you use any material © to anyone else? I suspect the logo is copyrighted by some australian production company or distributor, so I tagged it fairuse. — David Remahl 11:00, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Hey!

I actually made the logo myself. I used the FuturaBlack font. I hope this doesn't cause any problems :\ — MrAcavano 11:24, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Excellent! I assume you license your part of the work under GFDL then? I think, for now, that we should tag the image with both {{GFDL}} and {{fairuse}}, until someone more familiar with the details of copyright and trademark law can have a look at it. Please add this information (along with the above information about what font you used, etc) to the image description page. Also, the preferred image format for this type of illustrations is PNG. Please consider adding a PNG rendition of the document. If you like, I can generate an optimized PNG if you send me the source files. — David Remahl 12:17, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Okay, I will put up an optimized version of the logo in PNG ASAP (probably this Thursday)! The logo actually looks like this in the TV series, so I'm still not sure if it could have any copyright issues? — MrAcavano 15:22, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Okay, so now I've changed the "Prisoner" logo with a better, optimized PNG version. I wasn't sure what to do with the copyright notices, so I only added the fair use tag. — MrAcavano 18:55, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I added GFDL too. See my comment on the description page. Is it Ok to delete Image:Prisoner.gif now? It isn't used anywhere anymore, is it? — David Remahl 19:00, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Yes, it is alright to delete the old file; no one should be using the file as far as I know. My original intention was to delete the file, but I didn't know how ;) Tack för all hjälp! ;) — MrAcavano 19:23, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Only administrators can delete images. Luckily, I got administrator privileges less than 4 hours ago, and this was my first opportunity to use them :-). — David Remahl 19:29, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)
