"Forensic evidence" is a mischaracterization. "Scientific evidence" is evidence of a scientific or technical nature that can be used in a judicial process to aid the trier-of-fact reach a conclusion. The term "forensic evidence" while often used to mean the same thing, is actually literally translated to mean any evidence presented in a "forum."

  • Agree - I agree with the merge proposal. I would also like to point out that it is useless to name chemicals if the application is not discussed. Luminol - blood detection, Nin and CA - fingerprint enhancement, and Amido - blood enhancement. Kevin Maloney 12:27, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
