It's a stub[edit]

Looks to me to be a stub: just has some bare minimal information. hike395 16:27, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hawaiian name[edit]

I reverted to the previous version for now because it's in common usage, and because "Maui Komohana" simply means "West Maui", which seems to be unlikely as a real Hawaiian name. But it doesn't look like there are any original references for "Mauna Kahalawai" either; it also doesn't seem to mean anything. "Mauna Kahalewai" would make more sense, but with fewer hits in general and also none in the newspapers (except for proper names), it may well be a retroactive "correction" of Kahalawai by people who figured the latter was a misspelling.
