I think one of these psyc articles should have a good, organized list of all the popular psyc tests given, including cognitive, emotional, and personality. Maybe psychological testing? The categories for these are also a bit messy right now. The list on this page should be better organized and some of the tests better described... kslays 16:46, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright[edit]

Much of the list on the article page is not only riddled with typos but appears to be taken wholesale from this page: http://www.brainsource.com/nptests.htm -kslays (talkcontribs) 20:44, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Currently the only similarity I am seeing is a alphabetical list of tests which would not a copyright vio . Removing copyvio tag, If I missed something leave a note on my talk page. Jeepday (talk) 02:11, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Content elimination in many tests[edit]

There has been an elimination on content on many test articles by a group of unregistered users. I have been privately told that such eliminations are in order to preserve test opacity. However their editions are not explained nor disccussed in talk pages. This is an important issue and has to be disscussed and an agreement reached or this is going to finish in a never ending edit war. I would ask this users to register (so we can address comments to somebody) and explain their reasons in this or other talk pages so an agreement is reached. For the momment I will consider such eliminations vandalism since reasons are not given and therefore revert them in the pages I watch. --Garrondo (talk) 13:13, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree this is very concerning. Many of these pages may need to be protected and watched closely.Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 09:28, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ops...[edit]

I have unintentionally repeated a removed link (http://www.brainsource.com/nptests.htm)
but it didn't seem me promotional. If it is, I apologize for the repetition...

Errors[edit]

Many of the listed "neuropsychological" tests are actually tests of intelligence. There are also personality tests in the list for some reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.53.43.110 (talk) 21:01, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Intelligence Citations Bibliography for Articles Related to IQ Testing[edit]

I have posted a bibliography of Intelligence Citations for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human intelligence and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library at a university with an active research program in those issues (and to another library that is one of the ten largest public library systems in the United States) and have been researching these issues since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research and to suggest new sources to me by comments on that page. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 19:59, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Large Changes[edit]

I am new to wikipedia (editing), this is my first attempt actually. So I'm sure I've overlooked some things. I welcome any changes and/or advice. Changes made:

  • Reorganised the single test list into several categories with a brief explanation of each
  • Added a small amount of information to the opening paragraph
  • Removed some tests that I know aren't neuropsychological eg. Rorschach and MMPI

I'd like to hear what people think ?

MitchMcM (talk) 05:44, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Rorschach has been used as a neuropsychological instrument, and possibly deserves inclusion here. I believe the MMPI is also used as a neuropsychological assessment. That does not mean either are used well, or that they are specifically designed to be neuropsychological tests, but they are used as such. ParticipantObserver (talk) 16:15, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
