Cyberschool can take place in any school. There are only a few in British Columbia. Usually you do cyberschool twice a week, or once a week. You can choose to do it or not. It is basically school, but instead of going to school, you can do it home, on the computer. You will have to be able to work independantly, and know how to use different resorces. The class that is doing cyberschool will have an online resorce that only the class can log into. In that place it would most likley have chat, a post office, and things like that. The post office is for mailing friends or getting help from the teacher. Cyberschool is very neat because you can work on what you want, when ever you want, and at your own pace. It also teaches you to be very independent.

Cyberschool is an online education program. It isn't an ordinary extra curricular activity, Cyberschool takes place during class time. The only difference is students will stay home two days a week and do all their homework via computer. Everything is handed in electronically. Students can choose staying home Tuesdays, Thursdays, or both. Yennadon Elementary School, a school in Maple Ridge, Britsh Columbia, Canada, offers Cyberschool to grade six and seven students. Many schools in Alberta, Canada also offer Cyberschool to students. There are many different places where online activity takes place. It is a safe, enclosed learning environment where nobody without an identity can login. It is run by teachers and School District 42. Moodle is one of them, and it can hold chat lines, quizzes, polls, workshops, and many more. Also, on Manhattan, another one, there is a post office, a student lounge, class discussion, chat, team/teacher discussion, handouts/notices for those who aren't at school today, and many other choices. Both teachers are highly educated and have an vast knowledge of the functions of the computers and office supplies. Both are kind, helpful, and know a lot about computers!
