Maybe we should just add them to Wikipedia:Links to disambiguating pages as is .. -- User:Docu

It shouldn't be all that hard to cull out at a lot of the place names, though, by searching based on ", Washington", ", Ohio", "Township", etc. Sometime in the next few days when I've got sufficient time free I'll see whether I can do that. Bryan 18:49, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Yes, but I think the Multiple Places names list was separated out of the disambiguation pages listed back when the query to build Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links was fairly quick .. now that Wikipedia:Links to disambiguating pages is large and will get ever larger maybe there isn't much of a point .. -- User:Docu
It's easy to scramble eggs, but very hard to unscramble them again afterward. I don't mind the small extra effort keeping the two groups separate for now. :) BTW, do you happen to know how often is this /unsorted list updated? I've been adding links from it to the main page, but haven't been manually cleaning out the ones I've done. Bryan 05:46, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
I can try to rebuild it next time the database download is updated. -- User:Docu
If it's a lot of trouble, I can try going back through the sections I did and remove the ones I copied over. I've done four or five letters, IIRC. Bryan 07:51, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Once the database downloaded, it's not really a lot of trouble. You could also remove entire letters, once you covered 60-70%, to avoid that other may try to do the same later. -- User:Docu
Okay, I'll do some of that tomorrow. Still need to get the multiple placenames for those letters transferred over. Bryan 08:47, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
Well there is the update and, as you seem to want to separate them, below two lists of those ending with "County" and another one for those with a comma. -- User:Docu
Woo! This is great, thanks. :) Bryan 19:29, 2 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
