Untitled[edit]

I've removed the line "Some of his colleagues reported that Cook left York in a snit.", I can't find any sources to back it up. See Wikipedia:Avoid weasel terms for guidelines. - TB 21:36, 26 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Source: Ask any one of his former colleagues!
  • I'm not saying it isn't so, merely suggesting that a stronger statement is needed, for example "Prof XYZ, also of the history deprtment of York University, stated that she believed the reason for his sudden departure was personal" - TB 07:32, 27 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Thanks for your rigorous editing. I'll post a draft of my paper "Prima Donna Professors" with all appropriate links.
  • I know precisely why he retired. His colleagues do too. As most things it was a principled decision. He did not want to publicize the reason precisely because of people who like words like "snit". It is a ludicrous insult. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:600:A17F:F259:E506:8CA3:BC11:E66C (talk) 02:33, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
