Page created by AGB. I do not know how to talk to other users directly yet and do not have email. If you can leave a message on my user page telling me how then I would be very happy to correspond. I am sorry you don't seem to like cross references, as I think that the lack of enough of them is Wikipedia's most serious flaw... more so than lack of references.

Oleg , it seems to me that UBASIC should be linked on every appropriate page . It is a very powerful tool . There is a lot of snobbery about programming languages and BASICs are often slighted . UBASIC should not be slighted .

AGB , thank you for creating this page for UBASIC . I'm not sure why the UBASIC page has been tagged for cleanup . I'm sure it could be improved , but it seems quite effective as is . It is very difficult to establish all of the facts which go into the page , so it won't be easy to improve it more than incrementally .

The English "home page" was not functioning , so I replaced it with one that seems to work , but messed up the format for an unknown reason .

Why is UBASIC notable? Who, besides you, has written about it? What has it been used to accomplish in the real world? Asking these questions is not slighting the language and it certainly is not snobbery: Most programming languages, BASIC dialects or not, never achieve notability and certainly don't need to be in Wikipedia. --chbarts (talk) 12:02, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There needs to be a link from Partition function (number theory), which has a totally obsolete formula, to the sample program section, which has the modern 1939/1956 formula. I have added the key references to that article, but may people would not have access.
If and when I have time to add the correct formula to that then I will add the link myself.
Until then I will let you choose.

Category[edit]

There needs to be a Category: Number theory programs or Category: large number programs, and UBASIC needs to be added to it. Hackwrench 04:16, 11 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
