The term "alleged" is used chiefly in legal proceedings. Using it for the Holocaust is not the best way to introduce holocaust denial into the article. The article acknowledges farther down that many people deny the Holocaust. However, there are so many eyewitnesses that it would be like calling the mountains on the moon "alleged mountains".
