Hi there![edit]

Hello there. I just wanted to give you a friendly tip not to over-wikify (so don't make too many links). It's great that your making links, but make sure that it is relevent to the context, so don't wikify every word because then it looks funny :). I know how you feel, because I had the same problem a while back. Just ask yourself:

  1. Will it help people if they don't know about what I'm talking about?
  2. Has it been linked to before?

For example, words like permanently doesn't really need a link to it. If people want to know the definition, then they can look in a dictionary, but Wikipedia is strictly an encyclopedia, so try not to link to dictionary definitions. That just encourages people to create that page! Also, if something already has a link to it earlier in the article, try not to link to it again.

If you have any more questions, or need help with anything in the future, please don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page! -Frazzydee| 00:53, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Changes to Neopets[edit]

Hi! Me again. I'm glad to see you are being bold in regards to editing Neopets. I would highly recommend looking at our manual of style for editing, particularly our guidelines for adding wikilinks to articles. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and I encourage you to continue trying to improve our encyclopedia. Once again, welcome! :) →Reene 00:58, Jan 13, 2005 (UTC)
