Anais Nin[edit]

She would seem to qualify on the basis of both novels, and an extended autobiographical diary. Not here because ...?? 69.125.193.249 (talk) 17:56, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Someone should note that Nancy Friday shouldn't be under autobiography. I have made no changes, but just am suggesting. She wrote My Secret Garden, which is basically a catalogue of a bunch of women's sexual fantasies, men in love (men's sexual fantasies). They're more clinical than erotic, and if you read them, you'll be disturbed by all the fantasies except whichever ones you happen to have. It makes sense to put her under erotica but she does not write books that are erotic. She writes books that give permission to people to have fantasies and weird psychodrama without feeling like they are insane. See this: http://www.shelfari.com/authors/a11906/Nancy-Friday/books.

Wouldn't it be more useful if the authors were alphabetized by their last names rather than their first initials Amsler (talk) 22:54, 4 April 2011 (UTC) RAA[reply]

Yep!!! --Belladona.

Could Joris-Karl Huysmans be added to the list?

Moved to "List of authors of erotic works" from "List of erotic authors" on the basis that I have no life. -- Karada 00:32, 5 Feb 2004 (UTC)

added mark twain with 1601 to the list though the work is rather considered ribaldry (I'm such a rebel ^^) .. --Ebricca 22:33, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
