2004 in music (UK)[edit]

I've just created the 2004 in music (UK) article. Please take a look and see what you think. You may notice that I've omitted the monthly breakdown - I think that's a good idea but with such little information and writing there right now I reckon it would be hard to fill it up. Perhaps that can be done later when I (or someone) has time to add to it. violet/riga (t) 20:38, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Great stuff with the addition of sales figures! violet/riga (t) 12:24, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Once again some good work on the article. Just to let you know, if you haven't seen already, that the 1999 in music (UK) and 2000 in music (UK) articles have been expanded greatly by two people (or maybe one person) - monthly summaries! Some of it is written a little informally and I was wondering if you'd get a chance to review it to see which bits need copyediting. Furthermore, 1999 is a current featured article candidate just as a tentative experiment to see what people think. Keep up the good work, violet/riga (t) 18:09, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Care to explain your vandalisms? Specifically, creating fake articles as part of a game at [1]: Zakir Raman, Weasel (expression). What others have you created? -- BRIAN0918  04:41, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

To be fair only one of those is fake, I use the expression 'weasel' with my friends. David 5000 09:45, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Nelson Piquet Jr.[edit]

Hey, your article Nelson Piquet Jr. was a duplicate of an existing article on him, so i've changed it to a redirect. You'll find there was an article of more depth already at Nelson Piquet Jr.. Hedley 23:19, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Nice page, but your page didn't exist 'already' - my page was there at least 2 months before yours :-P . I'd been meaning to expand my stub anyway, but never got around to it!! David 5000 09:33, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

My RfA[edit]

I don't know what your getting at on there. We may have our differences, but I don't see why you are trying every trick in the book to swing the vote in your favour. I'm sure we're both well aware that I never wrote the quoted message, and that isn't really a very dignified way of putting across your oppose vote. Hopefully you can just leave it at this, I don't want any more trouble.

As far not answering talk page messages, your message was posted on your own talk page and wasn't a question, meaning firstly that I didn't see it, and secondly that it didn't look like it needed a reply anyway.

As i'm sure yourself and Dmn know, Requests for Adminship is for judging the qualities of a user as an administrator, and not for judging the first few actions on Wikipedia. I wouldn't try and do the same to your RfA, even after this, and so I hope that you will consider at least failing to persist in doing the same. Hedley 14:17, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Again I will state, I never wrote that message. I'm happy that you agree that I shouldn't of answered the talk page message, but may I ask, have you looked at my contributions? I think my contributions say more than one page move mistake on Mathias Lauda. Rather than lying you should of made a clear-cut case on why i'm unsuitable in your eyes. Also, you know as well as I that you are intelligent, and can easily mess around with screenshots or even the message I supposedly sent you itself. Hopefully others will see this, although its disappointing that you hold a grudge, as i've nothing against you. Hedley 14:38, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • The RfA page isn't a place for full-scale discussion of a matter. If you need to discuss your claims further, lets do it in a dignified way at least. And, for your information, by using the help of forum administrators you can edit the date/time of a message. I wouldn't be surprised, judging by your recent actions, if you gone far enough to do that. Hedley 14:54, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Screenshot[edit]

I would post a screenshot of the message anyway. I'm sure not all users are paranoid enough to believe you would fake one out of spite. Dmn / Դմն 17:13, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • I think its clear, by now, that you will both do anything to spite me. Of course, i'll stand by the facts of my not writing it no matter what phony evidence is produced. Hedley 20:22, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

GP2 series[edit]

Hi there. I notice you have done some work on maintaining information about the GP2 series. How would you feel if I made summaries of each race, as based on the information I've collected, and made a page about each driver, somewhere along the lines of the List of Formula One drivers article? I think this could be a good project, since this is a very new series. The articles would look something like this, though I'm quite happy to give it a different look if you want.

For that matter, I hadn't considered doing the same with this, but it is very possible.

Please let me know what you feel about this so that I know whether or not this is worthwhile. Bobo192|Edits 04:30, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm sure it's a possible project, although the driver pages may be a bit more complex due to the high turnover of drivers in the series. I'd have thought other users would be willing to help with this, I know there are some who have made more GP2-related edits than me! David 5000 13:53, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
