Bartosz Milewski[edit]

I created this vanity page some time ago when experimenting with Wikipedia. It became embarassing when my name appeared in the list of Polish Physiscist along with people like Leopold Infeld. My contribution to physics is not that significant as to make my name mentionable in the context of Infeld. The best proof that the page is inappropriate is the lack of articles describing my own peers in the fields I have contributed to.

  • why not jusk ask for it to be speedied? Wolfman 18:30, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • You should absolutely sign your nomination. Otherwise, we couldn't be sure that it was the author asking for the deletion. Put {{delete}} on the page, after blanking it, and explain that you're the author wanting it gone, and then someone will delete it for you. No vote will be necessary, or delay. I did that. Unfortunately, I am unable to sign in the ususal way, even though I'm logged in as User:Bartosz. The tildas expand to a timestamp only. I have no idea why. 00:35, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)

5 tildes (note the 5-hyphen markup for HRs above & below, where only 4 needed!) is markup for just a timestamp. Took me a while to dope out, too. --Jerzy(t) Jerzy(t) 06:05, 2004 Oct 21 (UTC) 06:05, 2004 Oct 21 (UTC)

  • why not create a login and Move this article to your User page? RickK 23:05, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
I believe he has a log-in and forgot to sign. It's Bartosz. I've also had weird things where things haven't been saving on VfD subpages lately. Geogre 03:13, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. So you're honest; if the info is accurate, you're also a physicist with work to your credit — a darn sight more than maybe 80% of these fancruft dweebs and the entire race of Klingons.... Not every physicist has to be Einstein. — Bill 21:30, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
