Welcome to Wikipedia. I notice that all of your edits so far have been to allege that various people are gay, and that they indulge in practices which some—including the subjects of your allegations—might find offensive. If you can provide information to back up your allegations, please do so. In the meantime they will be removed pending confirmation. --Phil | Talk 13:13, Oct 11, 2004 (UTC)

  • Effort phil. Philisophical physically phucked phillie willy Phil huh? Nah thanks man, I mean vandalism ought to be dealt with SWIFTLY and DECISIVELY eh! really, good effort. thanks for getting rid of it because I used to vandalise wikipedia but i've turned over a new leaf of marijuana and started smokin' it. GLA[edit]

No problem, glad I could help. - Vague Rant 12:16, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)

your correction of my user page[edit]

Hi Wifki - I realise that numbers over ten are written as digits, ("as per APA standard", it says in the introductory notes, and I did help write a book on them!). However, a certain amount of leniency is usually allowed for the numbers 11 and 12 in APA formatting. I was also unaware that those standards were strictly enforced for a person's own user page; a certain amount of license is surely allowed to people when they are describing themselves - certainly you have on your user page. Do you want me to correct the spelling and punctuation on that? Grutness 12:46, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Actually yes, that would be very helpful. But point taken. Wifki 12:52, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
PS - just read your reply on my page. S'alright. Sorry if i sounded a bit pissed off (I was a little! :)

Double work[edit]

It was kind of pointless to create a new page Wikipedia talk:Requests for comment/User:Sexual maniac just to put a speedy delete notice on it... Gady 14:50, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

VfD[edit]

There's no point in putting a VfD header on an article which has already gone through the VfD process and voting was to keep. RickK 22:08, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)

Abbreviations[edit]

Hello. Thank you for the good work you've been doing removing vandalism from articles. One thing that might confuse some people, though, is the use of "rv" in the edit summary. I understand that you use it to indicate you are reverting someone's edit, but common usage here is to indicate that you are reverting the last edit before yours. If you are undoing what someone did earlier than the latest edit, you could just type something like "rm vandalism" ("rm" meaning "remove") in the edit summary so people don't think you are reverting the latest edit. Happy editing! SWAdair | Talk 08:25, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the tip, i'll remember to use rm in future. Wifki 12:07, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Stop adding allegations[edit]

You've been warned before to not adding allegations of homosexuality without information to back it. Don't keep doing it. Lowellian (talk)[[]] 17:08, Nov 18, 2004 (UTC)

There's very little point to doing so when the article has already been listed on VfD, and doing so just confuses voters on VfD and requires them to check the history of the page to even find out what the page was really like. And while Robert Davis should be deleted, it is not a case of "vanity". Anyway, don't do it. Lowellian (talk)[[]] 13:53, Nov 19, 2004 (UTC)

Joe Dirt[edit]

Do you love Joe Dirt? Because you must have reverted the sideburns article back to contain that Joe Dirt / 90210 comment about a billion times. Honestly I don't think it belongs in the article, but hey, you are persistant! That's good for something. --MaxPower 19:49, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Better check out your facts before making accusations, sunny. I am the one trying to get rid of Joe Dirt and his sideburn bullshit. Be a bit more careful before putting defaming messages on my user page again! Wifki 13:10, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Can't we all just work together to make a better sideburns article?! Seriously though, it's ok to like Joe Dirt. I mean, maybe not? Also, I apologize. I will take your suggestion. Honestly. --MaxPower 14:13, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Nice words[edit]

Hi Wifki - just noticed your kind words about me on your user page! Many thanks - although I don't know what I did to deserve them! [[User:Grutness|Grutness talk ]] 12:16, 8 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Article for Deletion[edit]

Greetings. You may be interested in voting on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse (image free). Thanks. --Descendall 01:29, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. You nominated Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands for speedy deletion. It doesn't meet any of the criteria for such a deletion; the fact that it survived two Articles for Deletion discussions is a very good indicator of this. You might want to review Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. -- SCZenz 15:22, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Snapofrocruble duck[edit]

Can you provide some more sources for your article? As you know, one's down (and isn't cached by google) and the other isn't in English. I can't find any hits for the word Snapofrocruble on Google, either. Is it perhaps mispelled? Thanks. -- Vary | Talk 16:01, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I also tried AltaVista for references, No luck. Could you check this species exists against verifiable sources? Also it would be helpful if the taxonimical classifcation and Latin Name were added to the article. ShakespeareFan00 16:06, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spam in Jaycar[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Jaycar, by Thewinchester, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Jaycar is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Jaycar, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Jaycar itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 17:15, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Altronics Australia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Miracle Pen (talk) 17:05, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
