This is a script which re-orders the notes in a page to match the order of the references. See Wikipedia:Footnote3 for details on how to create such notes and references.

N.B. using scripts directly out of a wiki without checking them for correctness is probably unwise. Minimal documentation is included inline with the script.

The script can be used something like this.

order-footnote.pl < wiki-page > wiki-page-fixed
