The official Motown title for this song is "Someday We'll Be Together" with no commas (that is, not "Someday, We'll Be Together", as it would be rendered in standard English). --b. Touch 01:35, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I enjoyed this and congratulate its authors but according to a paperback biography of the Supremes, the name of which I can no longer recall, Gordy was obsessed with the idea that the Supremes would have to go out with a great big hit and this was what was taking so long for Diana to get her solo career going. So when this song came along it set the wheels in motion as they knew it would be what they were looking for. Also, the song had very a strong message to Vietnam war widows that someday they'd be together in heaven with their loved ones. That's the powerful resonance of the song and I think it should be underscored in this entry. Also, I still recall the most memorable performance of thing song being on the Ed Sullivan Show, where I remember watching it after an outing with my family watching horses in Westmount Park as a 7 year old.
