The report generator can place section headers with clear instructions. This helps clear up any confusion as no matter what a user will be faced with this before they can start working. Direct links to an article's edit saves time. Having all the edit links on the left means users who use tabs in their browsers can very quickly open a lot of articles to edit and have them ready and waiting when they reach the article; compare to the amount of mouse movement needed to do this on the right side. This saves lots of time. Use of the full signature (~~~~) to take ownership of a section is convenient for the users and useful for anyone trying to oversee the project. If a section has been claimed for 3 days it can be easily identified, checked, and if need be put back into general availability.
