Deeply Saddening[edit]

I knew Enaam Arnaout as a child and although I dimly remember him, I will stoutly declare that he was not and is not a terrorist. The government lawyers worked up a frenzy feeding charge after charge against him but simply had no evidence to back any of it up. The fact that Enaam has plead guilty to "providing boots, tents, and uniforms for rebels in Chechnya and Bosnia" is a ridiculous reason to face a 20 year sentence. BIF was a charity organization, period. I fully believe that those Chechans deserved every single bit of assistance they required against the Russian genocidal war. Bosnia I'm sure deserved the aid as well. How is helping the fighters of a small, poor, on-the-verge-of-extermination country wrong when they only are fighting against an oppressor? They're not trying to take over the world.

For the record though, I do not support at all the Chechan's terrorist acts but then again neither do I support Russia's efforts to make them an extinct race, which has become more and more obvious over time...although it tends to not make it to the newspapers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abomination (talkcontribs) 14 November 2004‎

Prove it[edit]

Knowing someone since childhood proves nothing. People change as they get older as witness to the family of the British-Pakistani youth who was involved in the London bombings. Their family was also dismayed that their son had turned into a radical Islamic terrorist. He was sent to Pakistan to "find a wife" and apparently hooked up with al-Qaeda there. People change, get over it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.149.128.37 (talkcontribs)

Arnaout[edit]

I put in a link to his indictment. Very informative. LDH 15:23, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Golden Chain[edit]

The link to the "golden chain" directs to an article about a flower. Something should be done to correct this, or else the link should be removed altogether. Deepfryer99 (talk) 20:27, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
