I've removed the link to Streetdirectory.com that was in this version of the page. Deep linking into Streetdirectory.com maps contravenes the Terms and Conditions of the Streetdirectory.com site. —Goh wz 06:02, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

What is the meaning of the "projected ultimate" number in the box on Bishan (and, noticeably, on the boxes of every other Singapore new town article in wikipedia)? If that's the projected number of total accomodation units, it's not clear that this is so. Alex.tan 01:29, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

  • Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:TITLECHANGES. No evidence that Bishan District is commonly referred to as Bishan. And even it is, a dab page buys you nothing, as users still need to click once to get to the article. You know, an article with a hatnote link doubles as a dab page, practically speaking.   • That's like asking for proof that New York City is commonly referred to as New York. For starter, see Google maps. Also see the numerous results from Google books.   • Actually, I think you are both right. So the best solution is probably to move the Singaporean Bishan to Bishan, Singapore and not use a dab page, redirecting Bishan to Bishan District. Still support. Timmyshin (talk) 23:25, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WP:TWODABS allows 2 entry dab pages. In any case it wouldn't be two since the dab needs to include Bishan Railway Station (China) and Bishan MRT Station (Singapore) also both "Bishan" in timetables and railway books. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:36, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
