Definition[edit]

There is no definition in this article. We should provide a definion in the first line of the article, in order to let readers know what exactly `Cream Lemon' is... dionyziz 17:17, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)

I moved the definion to the top of the page. Seems okay now. --dionyziz 17:02, 1 August 2005 (UTC).[reply]
I'd like to buy Cream Lemon film comics series from Japan(especially Ami again and kuroneko-kan). Please teach publisher and details. —This unsigned comment was added by 221.56.102.245 (talkcontribs) .

Effect on fanfics[edit]

Would it be appropriate to mention here that 'Cream Lemon' is believed to be the origin for the term 'lemon fanfic' (or just 'lemon fic'), referring to an erotic fanfiction?--MythicFox 08:02, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's why I came to this article, to see if it was mentioned. I think it would be a good idea, and I'd add it, but I don't really know how to make a new section, nor exactly what section to add. Ravenwolf Zero 21:32, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it should be mentioned, if it isn't already. --OrangeFoxFetish 04:04, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Subbed?[edit]

I was wondering if anyone knew whether someone, maye a fansub group, has subbed part or any of these series, and if there's a website to go look at it, and possibly torrents? Perhaps you could msg me... I want to learn about this history prior to Project A-Ko, perhaps it's even better. Tyciol 15:04, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

U.S. Release[edit]

Some episodes were released in America in cut & dubbed format under titles like "Gonad the Barbarian," "Search for Uranus," "Offenders of the Universe," and "Star Trap."[1] Evan1975 04:01, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Research where to order DVDs?[edit]

I've searched the net, and other than the one japanese website (which I can't order from, because I can't read Japanese) I haven't seen a place to order the DVD Boxed set.

Has anyone found a website or company you can order the DVDs from, even if you can only get unsubbed Japanese? I remember seeing one or two episodes a long long time ago (Pop Chaser, one of the Rall episodes, and Star Trap are the ones I remember for sure)and I'm sure that I'm not the only person who has scoured the net trying to find this.

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/search.html?type=GC&restrict=ALL&strict=&word=Cream+Lemon Looks like it may be out of print. I've seen eps #1-9 floating around on BitTorrent. I'm baffled at how there's this huge influx of hentai titles coming to America, yet this classic is never imported. Evan1975 05:47, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Live Action Film and Non hentai Sequel[edit]

Cream Lemon recently had a rebirth in Japan. A live action movie was made (non pornographic) and a new OAV series was released (again non hentai) it would be interesting to include this information and also would be interesting to find out why the producers felt tat the fan base was big enough to take the Cream Lemon brand and apply it to non hentai. Is the series really that popular? Did it have a lot of crossover sucess? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.229.11.51 (talk) 12:51, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Star Trap[edit]

I want to add a mention about the NEC PC-9801 game produced and distributed by Fairy Dust based on the Star Trap episode. I'm not sure where to add it, though. Thoughts? rzrscm (talk) 04:19, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An unrealistic porn plot? Why, I never heard of such a thing.[edit]

"Cream Lemon often focuses on unrealistic and exaggerated themes that could never happen. One such example is of the story of a girl who does not like sex because of a series of rapes in her family. To cure this, the school counseler orders her to strip off in front of the art class and masturbate herself to the point of orgasm. She then has public sex with a boy and likes it, causing the whole class to start having sex. Others are equally surreal."

As if the plots of other porn videos are any more realistic. --75.92.61.32 (talk) 18:58, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the article does not say that another porn is realistic, it's a false conclusion. On the other hand, the plot of Lemon is very cartoonish, suggesting, for example, that you want to sleep with your brother just because he's very handsome. I can even say that Lemon for many years defined such cliches of modern hentai as imouto and yuri. Solaire the knight (talk) 13:05, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
