The spelling "Horned God" is spectacularly more common than "Horned god" (In fact, I have not found a single instance of the latter). dab () 16:23, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

That is no reason to move the page back prior to concensus. That was an agressive and arbitrary thing to do. I also notice that you have neglected to respond to my comment here. Sam_Spade (talk · contribs) 17:25, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)
what do you mean, consensus? I should say, your move was just as arbitrary. More so, as I have not seen a single instance of the spelling "horned god", while google is flooded with references to a "Horned God". Google hits are not ultimately decisive, but in cases where the distribution is so overwhelming, it will be difficult to argue any other spelling. You could arguably insert quotes, though, i.e. "Horned God" is a syncretic term... rather than just Horned God is a syncretic term..., simply because "Horned God" happens to be the term used. Also, I did in fact reply to your comment on Talk:Horned God. But do show me one relevant instance of a spelling horned god, so I'll know why we are even discussing this. dab () 09:29, 31 Dec 2004 (UTC)
