Classification[edit]

A conflict has arisen here. The taxobox still maintains the family as Scroph., but under the section 'Classification', it is stated that, apropos Stevens' work, it has reverted to Buddlejaceae. We can't have both? Stavast22 (talk) 08:22, 13 December 2018 (UTC).[reply]

A note[edit]

The botanic name is now generally written Buddleja; while there is no necessity to rename this article, it may cause some confusion. Perhaps two articles, one on the butterfly bush specifically for B. davidii, and another on the genus, called Buddleja?

Questionable edit[edit]

This edit seems strange to me.

The purpose of this link was to enable people who get to this article wanting information on one or more of the other plants called butterfly bush to find what they want. Perhaps that should have been more explicit.
