Franklyn I Santana[edit]

Notable baseball player? [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)]] 00:09, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)

Hasn't made it to the major leagues. Delete and rewrite once he's with an MLB team. RickK 00:23, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete unless some evidence is presented that this person actually exists. anthony 警告 03:43, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: He's ten years old. Geogre 06:52, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Actually that was a typo, he's 20. Although I don't see how being 10 is a valid reason to delete anyway, and it's disturbing that you'd vote to delete without even looking at the page history. anthony 警告 14:08, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • It's disturbing to me that you would try to create division in the community by implying that the fact that he's 10 is why I'd delete. If you had read the article, you would know that it states that he is a free agent baseball player. Being 10 and being a free agent baseball player is absurd. Secondly, how do you know that it's a typo? Do you know a great deal about this fellow? Have you verified it? Can you say more than that he "may be" a player? It really worries me that you appear to know enough about this article to state that that's a typo and yet want to abuse me for reading the article and judging it. Geogre 15:23, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • It's disturbing to me that you would try to create division in the community by implying that the fact that he's 10 is why I'd delete. You implied that when you gave it as your reason for deletion. If you had read the article, you would know that it states that he is a free agent baseball player. Read the article? I wrote the article! Being 10 and being a free agent baseball player is absurd. This may have tipped you in on the fact that it was a typo. Do you know a great deal about this fellow? Have you verified it? Can you say more than that he "may be" a player? No, that's why I voted to delete above. It really worries me that you appear to know enough about this article to state that that's a typo and yet want to abuse me for reading the article and judging it. You still apparently didn't look at the history. I know this was a typo because I'm the one who made the typo! anthony 警告 21:19, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • You wrote an article that you don't think should be here, on a person you weren't sure existed? Geogre 01:07, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • I substantially rewrote an article that I don't think should be here, on a person I am not sure exists, because I don't think blanking the article would have been deemed appropriate. anthony 警告 06:23, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • The article, at the moment I read it, is absolute tosh. I'd need to know which Major League teams he has played for in the major league - and I'd suggest if he hasn't played a significant amount of games (at the very minimum, I'd want someone to have been a first choice player for at least two seasons, or have played at least four seasons in the top flight) then he's not noteworthy enough. Unless we're going to start listing every professional person on the planet. Average Earthman 20:47, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Obvoius hoax. Indrian 05:18, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)
  • Token delete. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 05:56, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
