Unsourced addition[edit]

An editor has added text claiming this album was partially recorded in 1985 in Detroit. This text is not supported in the article or by a source. I removed it asking for a source, but the editor has decided to re-add it without discussion or sourcing. I am looking for consensus to remove this unsourced item, as this is a featured article. --Laser brain (talk) 12:38, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Without a source or reference, I'd remove it as soon as you see it re-added. Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talkcontributions) 13:24, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I read somewhere on here that the RHCP's cover of Fire by Hendrix (which appears on this LP) was recorded during the Freaky Styley sessions in 1985. This is my reason for adding it. FokkerTISM 13:26, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, this is a featured article, and any addition needs a citation to a reliable secondary source. Additionally, we don't add things to infoboxes that aren't even mentioned in the article text. --Laser brain (talk) 13:37, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I had no intention to revert you. I accidentally clicked a Twinkle reversion link. FokkerTISM 13:33, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
