reference not checkable[edit]

The links are broken, text I deleted follows in case any one wants to check its accuracy:

tea drinkers emptied their undrunk, cold tea into the slop bowl before refilling their cups with fresh, hot tea. It is generally believed that before teapots became a standard item tea was made by pouring hot water directly in the cups with the dish as a small lid while brewing. When you were finished drinking you poured the leafs into one of these bowls. They were anyway a standard part of the early tea sets. Some people would date it back to before 1730.
