Present tense?[edit]

Seeing as the Communist bloc no longer exsists in Europe, it seems daft to refer to how the comecon is 'benefiting' nations such as Cuba, Vietnam etc. Snooo 16:58, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The text is copied from a 1987 US government text in the Library of US Congress, implying that 1. you have "corrected" the grammar in an official US government text, 2. all present tense should be changed to past tense. Juro 20:14, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Lol, didn't notice at the time :-D . It seemed to be a very clunky document - although looking back most of the changes I made were related to the tense of the document. Will look back over to make more changes when I get a chance. Snooo 16:32, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)

It refers to the six East European countries and lists them - but doesn't include East Germany. Oversight? Secretlondon 15:05, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since nobody objected in almost 16 years, and given that it seems a clear oversight, I just added it. Steffens123 (talk) 17:38, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
